Conversational Trance

Conversational trance allows the hypnotherapist to move back and forth between hypnotic work and non-hypnotic communication. Using more natural language than in typical hypnosis, the therapist induces a relatively light trance to enhance unconscious learning. Emphasizing the therapist’s use of voice and story, conversational trance can be useful as a way to blend hypnosis with other modalities. The seminar will be experiential, using demonstrations and practice doing conversational trance work.
